Features
A Volumetric Cup Filler Vertical Packing Machine is a kind of packaging equipment that is specifically designed for filling and packaging granular products like salt, sugar, spices, and other similar products. Here's a basic rundown of how it works:
Product Feeding: The salt to be packed is first fed into the machine's hopper, which stores the product before it is dispensed into the packaging.
Volumetric Cup Filling: The machine uses volumetric cups to measure out the salt. These cups can be adjusted to accommodate different volume sizes, depending on the desired weight or amount of salt to be packed in each bag. The salt from the hopper is dispensed into these cups.
Dispensing: Once the correct volume is measured, the machine dispenses the salt from the cups into a bag or pouch. This can either be a pre-made bag or pouch, or the machine can form, fill, and seal the bags itself.
Bag Formation (for Vertical Form Fill Seal machines): If the machine is a Vertical Form Fill Seal (VFFS) machine, it forms the bags from a roll of film. The film is pulled downwards, formed into a bag shape with the help of a forming collar, and the longitudinal seam is sealed.
Filling: The salt is then dispensed from the volumetric cups into the newly formed bag.
Sealing and Cutting: Once the bag is filled, the top of the bag is sealed. Then the sealed bag is cut off from the film, producing a finished, sealed bag of salt.
The entire process is automated and can be adjusted to accommodate different bag sizes and amounts of salt. This allows for rapid, efficient, and accurate packaging of salt or other granular products.
